Overview
Recommended Waste Factor is an estimate of the material waste that a job incurs via the construction process due to having to purchase goods in pre-set quantities. Through years of historical data Hover has developed an algorithm that can produce an optimal waste factor recommendation for each individual project. With a few inputs, outlined further in this documentation, Hover can provide an estimated Recommended Waste Factor by percentage of total materials purchased.
Why would I use these endpoints?
Recommended Waste Factor can be used to help optimize material purchasing, and reduce waste. It can also be shared with stakeholders to help support pricing transparency.
